I have finally reached a point where I have decided to act on this project that I have been thinking about doing for almost a year now.
I’m not certain if this would be interesting or of value to anyone yet but I feel that it might maybe provide some interesting new information to others about certain restaurants, food, and travelling that they may want to try. I will also share about how I navigate to places like these as a wheelchair user.
I think what motivated me to do this in the first place was to create and share Information.
Information that can be easily accessed online for wheelchair users regarding travelling and accessible places are tremendously helpful and valuable, but many a times are very scarce.
There’s always a constant anxiety when visiting new places, be it locally or even more so when travelling abroad for the first time and having such information on hand provides a sense of security or at the very least some direction on what is to be expected.
This platform will act as a safe space for sharing of experiences, learning more about accessibility and ultimately exploring Food and Travel as a wheelchair user through my own point of view and perspective.

My name is Kishon Chong and I am joined with my lovely girlfriend Kay on this journey to explore many wonderful places to eat and travel!
I will share personal experience in my writing with little to no filters to give my most honest opinions on food, travel and accessibility.
I'm not really sure where this will go but we all have to start somewhere so this is where I'll begin! :)
